Awarded Microsoft MVP 2020-21 Office Apps & Services #MVPBuzz

Earlier this month, I received great news from Microsoft that they decided to award me with MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award for 2020-21 in the category “Office Apps & Services” – Thank you Microsoft for this recognition! I also want to thank my family and friends in the Microsoft technical communities who have supported me to achieving this award.

Every MVP nominee goes through a journey by making technical community contributions to help others achieve more through variety of community events, such as organising user group & community conferences, speaking at community events, writing blogs and much more! My main form of contributions for the community is that I enjoy speaking at various community events in UK and around Europe with meeting new and old friends who love sharing knowledge and their experiences and learning as well. I mainly speak about Microsoft 365 related technologies that include SharePoint, Microsoft teams and other workloads. So my big thanks goes to organisers of community events who invited me to speak at their events.

MVPs make up a global community of over 4,000 technical experts and community leaders across 90 countries/regions. It is my pleasure to be part of the Microsoft extended family and follow many Microsoft technical community members including MVPs who give up their time and energy just for the community because it is this passion and the interaction with community that drives my day!

Finally, I also thank my followers for their kinds words and wishes and showing their love and I hope to continue further and do what I love! Also, I have recently setup a new user group “Microsoft 365 UK (M365UK) User Group” where I also organise and host events through Microsoft Teams Live events and is free to register. One of the key benefits of MVP award include early access to Microsoft products, direct communication channels with product teams and an invitation to the Global MVP Summit, an exclusive annual event hosted at global HQ in Redmond, though it will be online next year. So am looking forward to build relationships with the local Microsoft teams to maximise opportunities for community.
