Speaking at SharePoint Saturday Leicester (UK) and Ahmedabad (India) #spsleicester #spsahmedabad #spsevents

I am delighted to be speaking at two inaugural SharePoint Saturday events (SPS Events) in November covering SharePoint and Office 365 technologies. First event is in Leicester (Little India!) here in UK and the second event is in Ahmedabad, India!

I owe it to organisers for selecting my sessions below and in fact, SPS Events Leicester 2018 is organised by the very folks (Brett Lonsdale and Anthony Pounder) who organised SharePoint Saturday UK (2010-2014), of which I spoke from 2011 to 2014!

SPS Events Ahmedabad 2018 is organised by Kirti Prajapati and am looking forward to meet everyone there too!

Below are my session details, twitter handles for latest updates and hope to see you there soon!

SPS Events Leicester 2018 @SPSLeicester #SPSLeicester
Date: 10 November 2018
Session Topic: Enabling External Sharing in Office 365, SharePoint and OneDrive
Level: 200
Track: IT Pro
By default, Office 365 is turned on for external sharing. However, without any planning and considerations some organisations turn this off and plan for later, but businesses can’t wait after all collaboration is internal and external! There are plethora of settings and services to allow external sharing to your customers, partners and suppliers. With recent improvements in external sharing, this demo based session will cover the ins and outs for successful implementation of external sharing in Office 365.
Venue: Leicester Race Course, Oadby, Leicester LE2 4AL, UK

SPS Events Ahmedabad 2018 @SPSAhmedabad #SPSAhmedabad
Date: 17 November 2018
Session Topic: Working with content types and metadata in SharePoint and Office 365
Level: 100
Track: End-User, Business
This session focuses on the foundation of information architecture with a view to good information design to support better navigation and search capabilities in SharePoint and Office 365. We will cover how content types and metadata attributes work and their scoping levels that can be applied across the SharePoint content hierarchy and how the content becomes very meaningful to business users.
Venue: GANPAT UNIVERSITY CITY OFFICE AND INFORMATION CENTER, 3rd Floor, Ganesh Meridian – Block A, Near Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel, Sola Bridge, S-G Highway, Ahmedabad, India

UPDATE [25 Oct] – I have pulled out of speaking these events as this week I had a major accident whereby a car drove into me & my bike from behind, when I was on the way to work and as a result my lower spinal cord bones are severely damaged and tons of pain!

My recovery/healing process is going to take some time and I need to protect my focus towards my health, family & work more closely than ever as I progress with reboots/updates in my life!

See you all sometime in 2019 and wish you all the best!

Thanks Chirag.
