Office 2013 and SharePoint 2013 reaches RTM
It is really exciting to learn that engineering work on the new Office and SharePoint is complete. For me I have been fortunate enough to try out the fifth generation of SharePoint product and technologies with all the wonderful functionalities meeting the latest web standards and a wave of new technical architectures within SharePoint, such as the App Store and Search platforms.
The following statements indicate the general availability of the products
From SharePoint Blog:
”We will begin rolling out new capabilities to Office 365 Enterprise customers in our next service updates, starting in November through general availability. Volume Licensing customers with Software Assurance (SA) will be able to download SharePoint 2013 on-premise through the Volume Licensing Service Center by mid-November. For business customers without SA, it will also be available on the Volume Licensing price list on December 1.”
